<p>There is unlimited amounts of traffic out there.</p>
<p>You don’t have a traffic problem.  Frankly, you just aren&#8217;t being committed enough with going out there and getting it.</p>

<p>Everyone I know who makes good money online <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>consistently</strong></span> spent at least 6 months being <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>committed</strong></span> to testing and buying traffic until they cracked it.</p>
<p>If you are serious about making <strong>serious money</strong>, then the best advice I can give you is&#8230;</p>
<p>Get committed!</p>
<p>If money is tight&#8230; stop eating out, take a pack lunch to work, stay in for 6 months and find the money. If need be, get a second job&#8230; Business takes investment in both time and money&#8230; SO GET SERIOUS!</p>
<p>In my experience you need at least $100 &#8211; $200 per week, EVERY week to start getting good momentum.</p>

<p>Transitioning to the digital economy for many people is a lifestyle choice. For others it&#8217;s been essential or even a case of being the only way to keep their head above water.</p>
<p>For me personally it&#8217;s without a doubt the best decision I have ever made in my life. The freedom, leverage and sheer flexibility it has provided me has enabled me to create my lifestle by design&#8230;</p>

<p>Ok, I am super busy right now so therefore this is going to be a very short post!</p>
<p>I just wanted to do a quick update and share the video above as it&#8217;s visions and ideas like this that motivate the hell out of me. I think you will like this too.</p>
<p>So if you haven&#8217;t watched it yet&#8230; What are you waiting for!</p>
<p>Anyway&#8230;  here&#8217;s my tiny weeny update&#8230;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s December the 4th and I&#8217;m excited&#8230;</p>
<p>But it&#8217;s not because a big kind fat man with a white beard is soon to be delivering presents to the Ross household. <img src='http://stuart-ross.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>It&#8217;s simply because I am seriously ready and pumped for 2013. I&#8217;m more ready for a new year than I ever have been.</p>
<p>You see although 2012 has been a great year for me personally, I have also felt at times that my hands have been tied behind my back when it comes to helping my students get BIG results online fast.</p>
<p>The reason being (very short version) is because I knew what I needed to do to help more people get faster and bigger results, but I didn&#8217;t have the business model and program to deliver it.</p>
<p>So I have been working flat out with my business partner Jay and our team &#8211; building a new company (Digital Experts Academy) with a brand new program to work in conjunction with The Six Figure Mentors.</p>
<p>This is where I have been spending 90% of my time and effort over the past few months and is also why I have been very quiet.</p>
<p>The good news is that after months of blood sweat and tears, we are now just a few weeks away from being in a position to start impacting thousands of peoples lives all over the word with our program, which frankly is going to help a ton of people start to live their lives, as <strong>if money didn&#8217;t matter</strong>&#8230; (Bold statement I know &#8211; but just watch this space. <img src='http://stuart-ross.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><em>An Honest And Straight to The Point (Blunt) Blog Post By Stuart Ross:</em></p>
<p>Ok, so I will warn you I&#8217;m not going to pull any punches here becasue I have seen this way too much over the years. In fact I see it happening all the time. The new online marketer gets excited about the potential of making it big online. They read a few ebooks, pick up a couple of courses, and get started with their first product. They think that they can invest virtually no money and time and make it big!</p>
<p>And for their first product, they create a $6 ebook…or maybe they decide to be an affiliate for some get rich quick scheme that pays out commissions for selling hype and hot air. Their concept is that with such a low price and so much hype, it should be easy to sell.</p>
<p>Sure, you may sell more at this low of a price (or with a boat load of hype and false promises), but what’s your overall strategy?</p>
<p>How do you up-sell them to a higher ticket item? What are the other products you make available to them?</p>
<p>You also have to remember, that the hyped up marketing messages that are full of BS and play on emotions, accompanied by promising the wold with little investment, will just attract a lot of broke people who will be pretty pissed off if you then start to offer other products!</p>
<p>Even if they do buy them, give it a few weeks and they&#8217;ll be pretty pissed with you when you can&#8217;t deliver on all the hype you promised.</p>
<p>So anyway aside from that, here’s a rule you must always remember…</p>
<p>Good marketing will not overcome bad math!</p>
<p>You have to sell 100 copies of that $6 product to just make $600. If you want to earn at least $5,000 this month, you have to sell 833 copies…and that’s counting you as having zero advertising expenses. That’s a tough road to follow. Averaging 28 sales a day without advertising just to earn an OK income is not an easy to plan. And it’s never one I’d want to follow.</p>
<p>Do the math! Let’s say you plan to earn a million dollars. Sell 100,000 items at $10…or 1,000 items at $1,000. Or even 250 items at $4,000.</p>
<p>What if you sell 10 of your $10 product this month, you make $100. On that $4,000 product, you made $40,000. Can you live on $100? Not likely. Can you live on $40,000 a month? I surely hope so, or we need to take a serious look at your lifestyle <img src='http://stuart-ross.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>How about taking care of the customers? A surprising fact I’ve found is often the higher ticket customers are less demanding and FAR more realistic. In fact I&#8217;d say nearly ALL the time! With a higher ticket item, you obviously need a lot less customers…which means less customer service on it’s own… and less staff. So less expenses in selling those higher ticket items.</p>
<p>As an affiliate of one direct sales company that paid out $2000 per sale, even at my peak with them, I had just one sales assistant working on commssion only for me and made 2.2 million dollars in sales.</p>
<p>The fact is, you do the same marketing work for more profits. You have to lay the foundations, set up autoresponder messages, get your blog online etc. for either product.</p>
<p>The sales process for the higher ticket item might be a little more detailed and there maybe a slightly different approach, but those same details can find their way into your email messages, videos, webinars, etc.</p>
<p>You make more money from the same work when you sell higher ticket products.</p>

<p>So you may be asking what’s the purpose of a low cost product? e.g. our application pack.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a lead generator for your high ticket items. Build a stronger relationship with your customers. If you’re selling another product first, you can also move into additional marketing such as direct mail or phone to sell the higher ticket item. We do that for YOU here already so you can literally focus on your lead generation! We choose to sell an application pack because what that also allows us to do is turn away the wrong type customer for our products and we need not waste theirs or our time..</p>
<p>So the only question left is how do you develop high ticket products?</p>
<p>The key is simply by adding additional value. The real secret is always increase your value until you’re giving way more value than what you’re asking for in price.</p>
<p>Another key is to change who you’re marketing to. Pick markets where your customer have money…seek to sell to the serious buyers instead of those barely getting by.</p>
<p>An example of this in my business, is that I stopped marketing to the usual Internet marketing crowd. You know the ones who all connect on the IM forums bitching and talking about the next IM launch, the new secret MAGIC loophole system or next big clickbank product. And I started focusing on targeting serious entrepreneurs. People who read similar books to me, who followed REAL business leaders like Robert Kiyosaki, Richard Branson  Tony Robbins etc. I found targeting people this way made a lot more sense than targeting the &#8216;Get Rich Quick&#8217; crowd that you typically see in the internet marketing industry.</p>
<p>Another great way to get confident about their being people out there who actually are prepared to spend a bit of money is through picking up a couple of magazines such as MONEY Magazine. For me, this was difficult at first since I came from the place of being pretty broke and in debt all the time. So it was hard to wrap my mind around the fact that there were a lot of niches where people had money…where they bought $5,000 golf clubs and attended $20,000 marketing conferences and workshops.</p>
<p>Yet, that’s one of the biggest changes you can make…a change in your mindset. In most businesses, serious people are willing to spend money to get what they want. And these are some of the best customers you can ever have… if you focus on them and deliver exactly what they’re looking for.</p>

<p>How&#8217;s that working out for you?</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a tough business model, but many new entrepreneurs are willingly participating in a race to the bottom.</p>
<p>On its surface, the plan makes sense.</p>
<p>You reach the largest number of customers by offering the lowest price.</p>
<p>You watch the big retail giants like Asda/Tesco/Walmart apply one knock-out blow after another with the bargain basement appeal.</p>
<p>So what&#8217;s the problem?</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t have their size, buying power, distribution, product selection, or any of their other advantages.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re also something that&#8217;s almost impossible to do today online.  They&#8217;re a one stop shop.</p>
<p>Amazon is the closest to this online, but they&#8217;re more upscale.  They focused heavily on book buyers first, because book buyers are also better customers of other products.  It allowed them to use their huge network into products at all price levels.</p>
<p>For a small &#8220;internet lifestyle&#8221; business on a boot string, you need to flip this model around.</p>
<p>Quit thinking about how to appeal to the broadest portion of your market.  That&#8217;s what all your competitors are doing&#8230;and they&#8217;re on a race to the bottom.</p>
<p>Instead, consider what the most profitable portion of the market is.</p>
<p>Who is willing to pay a premium price for the best solution?</p>
<p>Maybe it&#8217;s only 5% of the market.</p>
<p>Who are they?  What do they want to buy?  What is the perfect solution for them?</p>
<p>What do they do differently than the average customer?</p>
<p>How do you reach them?</p>
<p>Those are the questions you need to be asking yourself.</p>
<p>Maybe this is a premium done-for-you service&#8230;your white glove service where you handle everything.</p>
<p>Or it could be a top tier direct sales product like I teach in The SFM.</p>
<p>Or it&#8217;s the exclusive watch where only 500 copies will ever be made.</p>
<p>It appeals to an audience who has the money to afford the best.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s a radical mind change for many of us.  When I started online, I was worse than broke.  I had over £20,000 in debts and worked a  job that took OVER 70 hours of my life &#8211; each and every week.</p>
<p>It was tough for me to realise that some people did have money.  Just because you only buy £40 jeans doesn&#8217;t mean £400 jeans aren&#8217;t selling like crazy at Harvey Nichols.</p>
<p>You may struggle with this concept, especially with all the recession news media constantly pumps out.</p>
<p>Premium retail is booming.  Neiman Marcus, for example, reported same-store sales increased by 7.9% in the past year.</p>
<p>It all depends on who you&#8217;re selling to.</p>
<p>Focus on the best, most qualified customers first.</p>
<p>In other words, don&#8217;t think about your mass market product first.</p>
<p>Focus on your &#8220;backend&#8221; or align yourself as and affiliate with companies that are!.</p>
<p>Create your brand around the premium side.</p>
<p>Then, if it fits your business model, expand out into other solutions from there.</p>
<p>Instead what most people are doing today is selling their &#8220;dream solution&#8221; for $27.  But their backend &#8220;funnel&#8221; is non existent!</p>
<p>A few customers upgrade to their other higher priced solutions, but the majority don&#8217;t.</p>
<p>The majority are still stuck at the price they &#8220;anchored&#8221; them with originally.  They only buy when you offer them other $27 products.</p>
<p>It all depends on who you&#8217;re marketing to&#8230;the solutions you offer them&#8230;and the value you set for your brand.</p>
